    The “Green Business Co-operation Day: Green Forum Session 1” organized by IPIM and PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), co-organized by Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Green Finance Alliance (GBA-GFA) and ABM, was held on the first day of the 2024MIECF.  ABM as the Rotating President of GBA-GFA, organized the “Panel Discussion 1: Finance Facilitates New Opportunities for Green And Low-Carbon Transition”.  The discussion covered topics including commercial banks promote transition financial practices, ESG investment stimulate the economy achieving high-quality sustainable development and to align sustainable financial standards and construct a market system between China and EU, etc.  The distinguished panellists attending this unique discussion included Mr. Ip Sio Kai, Rotating President of GBA-GFA and ABM Chairman, Mr. Carlos Cid Álvares, Chief Executive Officer of Banco Nacional Ultramarino, S.A., Mr. Bernardo Mendia, Secretary General of Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC), Mr. Kang Qu, Vice President of Hong Kong Green Finance Association and Managing Director of Sustainability Strategy Bank of China (Hong Kong), Mr. Huang Jianping, Director General of the Guangdong Clearner Production Association, Chairlady of the GBA Green Development Alliance, Mr. Ge Xingan, Expert of the Ecology Team of Shenzhen Pilot Demonstration Area and Vice President of Susallwave Sustainable Digital Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., and Mr. Gavin Chan, Regional Head of North Asia, Relationship Management APAC, M. Eash & Africa of Clearstream Banking S.A.  Over 300 participants from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and overseas attended the event and had generated widespread attention from various sectors of society.
