In order to align with the construction of the “China-PSCs Co-operation Platform” in the Macao SAR and to better leverage Macao’s role as a “Commercial and Trade Co-operation Service Platform between China and PSCs”, the abovementioned forum was jointly organized by ABM and CE-CPLP at Galaxy International Convention Center.  The guests of honor attending the forum included: Ms. Henrietta Lau, representative of the Secretary for Economy and Finance of Macao, Executive Director of Board of Directors of AMCM, Mr. Wang Jianfeng, Deputy Director of the Coordination Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, Mr. Zhang Yinan, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Policy and Research Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Macao SAR of PRC, Mr. Vincent U, President of IPIM, Mr. Chi Tenghui, Director of the Financial Development Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Co-operation Zone in Hengqin, Mr. Danilo Henriques, Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Mr. Bernardo Pinho, Director at AICEP Portugal Global and Vice Consul (Trade & Investment) at Consulate General of Portugal, Ms. Cui Shuang, Vice President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee, Mr. Ip Sio Sai, ABM Chairman, Mr. Adelino Buque, Chairman of the council of CE-CPLP, Mr. Cassio Von Gal, Vice President of Associação Brasileira de Bancos, Mr. Teotónio Comiche, President of Associação Moçambicana de Bancos, Mr. Dalton Gonçalves, President of Associação Santomense de Bancos, Mr. José João Guilherme, Member of the Board and Executive Committee Caixa Geral de Depósitos, and Mr. Pedro Turras, General Manager of Millennium - Banco Comercial Português, etc.  During the event, a signing ceremony was held, where ABM signed a memorandum of cooperation with Associação Moçambicana de Bancos and Associação Santomense de Bancos, as well as a cooperation initiative with Associação Brasileira de Bancos, with the aim to strengthen the cooperative relationship between Macao and banking institutions in PSCs, leveraging China-PSCs economic and trade cooperation to a new level.  There are several guests invited to deliver keynote speeches on topics such as the business environment and financial industry overview in Macao, the Co-operation Zone, and the GBA.  The event attracted around 200 representatives from PSCs’ associations, financial institutions, and businesses, as well as guests from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao GBA, sparking widespread attention from various sectors of society.  On the following day, ABM, along with representatives from Associação Brasileira de Bancos and Millennium - Banco Comercial Português, visited the Co-operation Zone and providing an opportunity for the representatives to gain an in-depth understanding of the latest development and situation in the Macao-Hengqin district.
